I want my blog to be popular and cool like this ladies!! What a fabulous idea!! From now on I am going to dedicate this blog to my son and fill it with memories, and lessons for his future...a memory book so to speak!!


MADRID (Reuters) - A Spanish great-grandmother whose blog attracted tens of thousands of readers from around the world has died aged 97 in the northern Spanish province of La Coruna.

Lopez, who dictated her entries to her grandson Daniel because she suffered from cataracts, became a nationally loved figure in Spain and met Prime Minister Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero.

"My grandson gave me this blog when I was 95 on December 23 2006 and my life changed," reads one of her entries. "Since that day I've had 1,570,784 visits from bloggers from 5 continents who have cheered up my old age."

A banner on her site read "Rest in Peace," with nearly 500 messages mourning her death.

Changes

I have been looking at my blog the last few days, weeks...It certainly needs an overhaul. This blog shows none of my true personality nor would I want anyone that I know to see it and read it! I started it at the suggestion of a friend but, I think it was completely the wrong time in my life too much going on too many bad emotions, thoughs and feelings. So the quandry I am in today is...should I delete this one and start anew or just continue on from where I am?? this one is boring, uneventful and sad! Questions is..as always...who am I who do I want to be? What do I want to say?? What exactly would my brand be?? I am of many layers and would anyone really want to see and read about it? For now, I will think about it for a little longer and come back to this later today!!

Real N'awlins Muffuletta

A muffuletta at Central Grocery store is a must to your stay in New Orleans.
Central Grocery is an Italian grocery
store down on Decatur Street that smells incredible when you walk in, usually very crowded...but, well worth the wait.

The muffuletta consists of one Italian muffuletta bread loaf split horizontally in half and covered with marinated olive salad and layers of capiocola, salami, mortadella, emmental cheese and provolone cheese. And it’s Huge. Central sells the sandwich by the half or the whole and the whole is for sure enough for two people. The olive salad is the key to the sandwich and is made of olives, celery, cauliflower and carrot..YUM!! I Wish I were walking down Decatur right now on my way to Central Grocery to get me a Muffaletta and BIG bag of Zaps!! Then I would go sit at my favorite spot by the Mississippi River and ENJOY!!!
